Who We Are
The REALTOR® Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the MIBOR REALTOR® Association, seeks to mobilize the real estate industry to raise funds and foster support for organizations solving homelessness in central Indiana. Our vision is that everyone in our community has a safe place to call home. Since 2003, more than $3M has been invested in local nonprofits on the front lines of preventing and ending homelessness for Hoosiers in need.
Our Reach
As the philanthropic arm of MIBOR, we have direct access to over 10,000 REALTORS®, real estate professionals, and other industry adjacent organizations throughout central Indiana. Companies who support the Foundation find that they have the opportunity to market directly to Indianapolis' top producers in a way that benefits the community. We hear from many REALTORS® that they prefer to work with and refer their clients to companies who support the REALTOR® Foundation.
Signature Events and Other Opportunities
Each year, the REALTOR® Foundation hosts five signature events, as well as several other fundraisers such as the REALTOR® Week of Service. The Foundation also recognizes corporate donors annually on the Donor Wall in the MIBOR corporate office lobby, social media, website, newsletters, at the events and in the Annual Report.
Foundation Signature Events
The Ball: A Benefit for the REALTOR® Foundation
- Takes place each January at the Indiana Roof Ballroom
- Gala event with plated dinner, industry awards, dancing, and more
- Averages 600-700 guests
Summer Event
- Hosted during the summer at various locations throughout central Indiana
- Casual event with a fun new theme each year!
- Averages 200-300 guests
Stream-a-Thon
- Held each August
- 8 hours of live streaming with impactful stories from grantees, interviews, games and sponsor spotlights
- Housing is essential to ending homelessness, sponsorship opportunities align with shared mission
REAL Challenge Remix
A 24-hour fundraising challenge where REAL alumni classes compete to raise the most money for the REALTOR® Foundation
The challenge ends with a lively karaoke-style happy hour featuring prizes for best performance and best dressed
Sponsors receive strong visibility through event promotions, online giving pages, and the live finale celebration
The winning class is crowned the REAL Challenge Remix Champion and added to the official trophy at MIBOR
Annual Golf Outing
- An October Golf Outing to remember with a different exciting theme each year.
- Runs on both courses at the beautiful Eagle Creek Golf Club.
- Food throughout the day, golf carts, well stocked drinks, and fun sponsor booths at every hole!
- Averages 300+ players.
- Air cannons, putting contests, auctions, and more...

If you choose to sponsor all three signature events, you will only be approached once with a request to sign on as a sponsor for all three events. In addition to the sponsor benefits at each event, your company logo will be displayed on the Foundation website and rotate at the bottom of each page, mentioned in our Foundation Focus e-newsletter (distributed to 10,000+ MIBOR members), receive special recognition in the Annual Report and on social media, and be included on a traveling banner used at other industry events.
