40 For 40 Campaign

On this page you will find tools to aid you in your 40 for 40 campaign! We are recruiting 40 local real estate professionals and affiliates to garner $40 from 40 different people in honor of our 40th Anniversary (wow that was a lot of 40s). The success of this campaign will significantly boost our Annual Fund from which we provide grants to local nonprofits solving homelessness for our most vulnerable neighbors.

FAQs

  • What is the 40 for 40 Campaign?

The 40 for 40 Campaign entails 40 local real estate professionals or affiliates (or anyone that wants to advocate for us, really!) whose goal will be to garner a donation of $40 for 40 different people in honor of the REALTOR® Foundation's 40th Anniversary.

  • Who can donate to my campaign?

Anyone! Invite your colleagues, friends, and family to join in your support of the Foundation.

  • Will I have a direct link for my donations?

Yes- each 40/40 Club member will have their own donation page and a direct link/QR code. These will be shared once the donation platform is up and running. Need help getting your link? Contact bencarter@mibor.com

  • When does the campaign start?

The 40 for 40 Campaign will kick off at Denim & Diamonds: Our 40th Anniversary Celebration on June 21 at the Colts Gridiron Hall. More information and tickets available HERE. The campaign will run through the end of the year, but hopefully we will hit our goal before summer is over!

Homelessness In Indiana
  • Over 2,000 people are without a safe place to sleep on any given night in central Indiana. CHIP Indy projects that around 15,000 people will become homeless during a calendar year in our area.
  • More than half of these individuals are Black or African American.
  • At least 17% are American Military Veterans, of which women are the fastest growing number.
  • Job loss or loss of other income is the #1 cause of homelessness.
  • The average age of a person experiencing homelessness is 7 years old.
  • Domestic violence accounts for half of all women and children experiencing homelessness.
  • The majority of those experiencing homelessness often go unseen- single parents sleeping in their cars, couch surfing youth, families scraping by in derelict hotels.
